It's intimidating I know. Just like a first date, or a blind date. You might not want to go, or you're nervous that you'll wear the wrong thing or say the wrong thing. Same applies to your new electric pressure cooker (Instant Pot).

"I'm one of the thousands of buyers that bought their Instant Pot on Black Friday. Even though I was super excited when it first arrived and everyone claimed it was easy to use, I must confess, I was super intimidated to use it. I was afraid I would accidentally blow something up or cook crappy food that no one wanted to eat. So it then proceeded to sit on my kitchen floor for the next several months collecting dust. So after hearing my husband's hundredth joke about me buying another useless kitchen gadget, I decided to take action and prove him wrong. However, even after I read the manual and all the "easy" online pressure cooker recipes that I found, I almost gave up because everything sounded too confusing. But then, I found Erin's EPC 101 course and it was exactly what I needed.
Since I'm a visual learner it was so helpful to have someone walk me through what all the buttons were and how to open and lock the thing. It was also great at explaining what all the cooking functions were and how to cook certain type of foods (soup, beans, rice, poultry, etc). I also found the cooking demonstrations to be super useful because by walking through the steps, it helped me understand how to read certain recipes and how to modify them to suit my family's needs. Since then, I have made several well received dishes for my family and best of all, I proved my husband wrong. I highly recommend Erin's course to anyone that is interested in cooking with the Instant Pot and is too afraid to do so. It's not scary with Erin's help."
